Functional Specialist Clinician
As a Functional Specialist Clinician with GAIA RECRUITMENT LIMITED, you will be conducting initial reviews, paper-based, face-to-face, video or telephone assessments to evaluate how a claimant's health condition or disability affects their day-to-day life.
The role involves observing and reporting on an individual's ability to carry out activities whilst analysing the impact of their health condition or disability. Our client provides unbiased, comprehensive assessments for claimants of the Governments disability allowance (Personal Independence Payment), over the phone, on a video call or in person, either at one of our assessment centres or in claimants' homes.
A functional specialist like yourself will balance compassion and experience with great computer skills, impartiality, and strong time management. The hybrid model means you'll be based at home and assigned to work from your nearest assessment centre on a rota basis to deliver face-to-face assessments.
You'll earn an estimated salary of £42,000 - £50,000 per year, depending on location and experience. In return, you'll gain a fulfilling career as a healthcare professional, making a real difference in people's lives.
To succeed in this role, you'll need excellent communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work independently. If you're a nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD), occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic looking for a change, this could be the perfect opportunity.
