Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date construction documentation, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and timescales.
  • Coordinate the creation, review, and distribution of documents, ensuring they are complete, accurate, and meet the required standards.
  • Develop and implement effective document control procedures, ensuring seamless collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
  • Provide administrative support to the project team, including maintaining document archives, tracking revisions, and ensuring document security.
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and resolve document-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to project progress.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure effective communication and document exchange.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve document control processes and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in document control, administration, or a related field, with a strong understanding of construction documentation and project management principles.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Access, as well as experience with electronic document management systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a customer-focused approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
