Metal Preparation Technician

We are seeking an experienced Metal Preparation Technician to join our team at Mane Contract Services in Cambridge. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring that high-quality products are delivered to meet production requirements.
Your main responsibilities will include preparing metal and composite parts for painting, applying masking precisely as specified, and reading and interpreting technical drawings accurately. You will also be required to provide progress updates to the Team Leader when needed and perform additional tasks as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a production setting, with experience using vibrating hand tools advantageous. You will also possess strong attention to detail, accurate measuring and filler-mixing skills, and effective verbal and written communication skills.
The salary for this role is approximately £23,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience. The working hours are night shifts from 4:00pm to 1:45am, Monday to Thursday.
