Automotive E/E System Architect

About the Role

NXP Semiconductors, a leading provider of processing, networking, and power management solutions for the automotive market, is seeking an experienced Automotive E/E System Architect to accelerate the market's adoption of advanced technologies.

Context

The automotive market is undergoing a significant transformation, with massive parallel innovation occurring across all domains. To accelerate the migration to the Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) and enable early engagement with automotive OEMs, our strategic objective is to develop system expertise on E/E architecture and SDV.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with OEMs to define proof-of-concept studies showcasing the benefits of NXP products in real vehicle networks.
  • Collaborate with NXP technical and commercial teams to define and implement an overall solution positioning.
  • Develop knowledge and experience of tools used within early E/E architecture definition, understanding trade-offs and key performance metrics of the OEM.
  • Utilize expertise in software and system solutions that enable car architecture evolution.
  • Build and maintain relationships with automotive Tier1 and/or OEM partners.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in the automotive market.
  • History of engagement with automotive Tier1 and/or OEM.
