Job Summary

NXP Semiconductors is seeking a highly skilled Systems Architect to join our GPIS (General Purpose and Integrated Solutions) automotive systems engineering team. As a key member of this team, you will play a vital role in the conversion of market requirements into product definition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage the skills of existing team members to develop and enhance the GPIS portfolio, driving innovation and growth in the automotive electronics market.
  • Work closely with customers, Hardware and Software Architects to define system architectures that meet customer needs and differentiate NXP solutions on key parameters.
  • Translate customer requirements into functional and formal system architectures, utilizing your expertise in systems thinking and system analysis activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of complex system requirements and deliver best-in-class customer experiences.
  • Analyze new and emerging market applications to drive innovation and growth in the automotive electronics market.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, providing technical guidance and support to ensure successful product implementation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and growth in the automotive electronics market.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in automotive or aerospace electronics systems.
  • Strong understanding of system architectural design techniques and requirement-driven processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
