We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Children's Residential Care Worker to join our team at Esland. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our young people.
About the RoleOur homes offer crisis intervention and trauma-informed therapeutic care, providing a safe and nurturing environment for our young people to thrive. As a Senior Children's Residential Care Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Providing individualized care and support to our young people, including their educational and emotional needs
- Working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Engaging our young people in their favorite hobbies and interests, promoting their physical and emotional well-being
- Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 12 months' experience in a children's residential care home
- A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- A full driving license issued in the UK
- Full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
- In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations, and best practice
- Values aligned with Esland's, including a therapeutic and person-centered approach to childcare
- Aged 21 or above, due to industry regulations
