Customs Compliance Specialist

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Customs and Imports, enabling them to navigate complex HMRC regulations effectively. This challenging role demands a high level of analytical skill and expertise in identifying areas for process improvement.
Key Activities:
- Collaborate with Supply Chain stakeholders to ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
- Provide support to Buying teams in product classification, streamlining Customs operations and enhancing decision-making efficiency.
- Implement and manage procedures to reconcile Bonded vs. Commercial transactions accurately, ensuring timely financial reporting.
- Facilitate open communication of Import changes throughout the business, driving a culture of adaptability and resilience.
Your Background:
- Degree-qualified with relevant experience in Customs, Imports, and Exports.
- Proven track record of stakeholder management, influencing key decisions, and communicating effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement within Customs operations.
