Connect2SocialWork is seeking a skilled Social Worker to join their Child Protection and Children and Families Team on a locum basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a supportive team, enjoy hybrid working, and receive a competitive pay rate of up to £35 an hour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with children, young people, parents, and families to identify and address social, emotional, health, or behavioral issues.
  • Undertake direct observation of practice and provide effective feedback to ensure quality assurance.
  • Obtain user feedback and involvement to improve service delivery.
  • Work within service guidelines, statutory guidance, and legal frameworks.
  • Respond to identified needs with evidence-based interventions.
  • Lead professional work with families with complex problems.
  • Support colleagues and partners to develop evidenced-based practice.
  • Supervise, PDR, and mentor colleagues as required.
Requirements:
  • SWE Registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Drive and access to a car
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
