Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our Basingstoke MHST team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with children and young people, their families, and carers to provide high-quality psychological therapy services.
Main Responsibilities- Provide targeted support to children and young people, adapting and making reasonable adjustments to ensure accessibility for those with additional needs.
- Support psychological practice within the team by communicating effectively about client care, contributing to line management and supervision, and participating in clinical governance.
- Contribute to the development of the Whole School Approach offer within the MHSTs, delivering workshops and Mental Health Promotion projects in Primary and Secondary Schools.

Person Specification- Essential qualifications include a CYP Low Intensity Training Course (CWP or EMHP Post Graduate Certificate or Level 3 undergraduate course) supplemented by demonstrable experience working as a CWP with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
- Low Intensity Supervisor training qualification or willingness to attend during the first year in post.
- Desirable qualifications include training in nursing, social work, occupational therapy, counselling, or within a psychological therapy, as well as a psychology or other health-related undergraduate degree.
