About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our Basingstoke MHST team. The successful candidate will work with children and young people, providing targeted support and contributing to the Whole School Approach.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality psychological therapy services to young people, their families, or carers.
  • Support psychological practice within the team by communicating effectively about client care and contributing to line management and supervision.
  • Contribute to the development of the Whole School Approach offer and deliver workshops and Mental Health Promotion projects in Primary and Secondary Schools.

Person Specification
  • Essential qualifications include a CYP Low Intensity Training Course or equivalent, supplemented by experience working as a CWP or EMHP.
  • Low Intensity Supervisor training qualification or willingness to attend during the first year in post.
  • Desirable qualifications include training in nursing, social work, occupational therapy, counselling, or psychology.
