We are seeking a skilled professional to support our Proprietary Facilities Team in London.

This role will work closely with our London-based Marlin Facilities Team and the Aon Reinsurance Solutions broking Network across the Asia Pacific region.

You will be responsible for managing a Property & Power Facility backed by A+ rated Reinsurers from Lloyd's and company markets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform underwriting of facultative business for the Marlin Facilities.
  2. Engage with Aon Reinsurance broking divisions in the APAC Region.
  3. Analyse and track records of all risks presented to Marlin Facility, loading into the system, gathering relevant information.
  4. Assist APAC brokers to find the best solution when deploying Marlin's capacity.
  5. Develop and maintain a good commercial/technical relationship with the APAC network.

Requirements

  1. Reinsurance broking or underwriting experience, including project and account management experience.
  2. Experience gained within the London Market.
  3. Language skills: English (High level) and Spanish Language preferred.
  4. Developed negotiation skills.
  5. Good communication skills and comfortable managing relationships internally and externally.
  6. Considers the underwriter's perspective to adapt approach.
  7. Invests time and resource in Research & Development to find new products/solutions to meet clients' needs.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
