Mental Health and Behaviour Specialist

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Mental Health and Behaviour Specialist in a specialist provision in Oxford.

This SEN school provides a supportive environment for students with diagnosed social, emotional and mental health needs, as well as Autism and ADHD.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement strategies to support students with challenging behaviour, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  2. Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues to promote effective communication and collaboration.
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and deliver restorative practices and therapeutic methods.
  4. Contribute to improving attendance and behaviour within the school.

This role offers valuable experience for those considering careers in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselling, Probation, and Occupational Therapy.

The ideal candidate will be determined, resilient, and passionate about mental health and behaviour. Previous experience working with children or managing challenging behaviour is beneficial.
