The Opportunity: Director - Transport Planning

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transport Planning Director to join our UK team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and grow a successful team, while contributing to the delivery of impactful transport planning projects across a range of sectors.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to expand our client base within the transportation sector.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of transport planners.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of transport planning, from feasibility studies to detailed design.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure successful delivery within agreed timelines and constraints.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, developers, and community groups.

  • Extensive experience in all aspects of transport planning, including strategic planning, road safety, public transport, and sustainable mobility.
  • A strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership and management abilities.
  • Financial acumen and the ability to manage budgets effectively.
