- EHS Culture Promotion: Foster a highly engaged EHS culture through coaching, analysis, communication, and engagement with colleagues at all levels.
- Management Systems Development: Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining management systems supporting recognized EHS certifications and standards.
- Project Leadership: Lead subject-specific projects, including multi-discipline team members, applying knowledge and experience as directed by the Head of EHS.
- Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and other EHS requirements, coordinating evaluation as required.
- Staff Support and Training: Coach, advise, and support staff to ensure robust and maintained safe systems of work, identifying EHS training requirements and delivering specific training.
- Risk Assessment Management: Manage the site risk assessment register, monitor action completion, and support specialist risk assessment completion.
- Aspect and Impact Management: Manage site aspects and impact log to identify risks and opportunities, agreeing on actions.
- System Effectiveness Monitoring: Ensure systems are in place to monitor, measure, and confirm effectiveness through evaluation and corrective action procedures.
- EHS Project Input: Provide EHS input to projects and identify and implement continual improvements.
Experience in a similar Health and Safety managerial role is required. NEBOSH certification is an asset.
