Job Title: Chief Engineer - Product Safety and Security

We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to lead our Product Safety and Security team in the Advanced AESA Radar sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our complex systems, working closely with Systems Engineering and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the development and implementation of safety and security strategies for our products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate safety and security risks, and develop effective solutions to address these risks.
  3. Develop and maintain safety and security documentation, including safety cases and security plans, to support product certification and regulatory compliance.
  4. Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team on safety and security matters, including the application of safety and security standards and regulations.
  5. Work closely with the Head of Product Safety to ensure the effective management of safety and security risks and the development of a safety and security culture within the organization.
Requirements:
  1. Demonstrable experience in safety and security engineering, with a strong understanding of safety and security standards and regulations.
  2. Proven track record of leading safety and security teams and developing effective safety and security strategies.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  4. Strong technical expertise in safety and security engineering, with a focus on complex systems and electronics.
  5. Chartered Engineer status or equivalent qualification.
