**Teaching Assistant for Individuals with Disabilities Role Overview:**

Service Care Education is seeking a compassionate and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in Euxton, Lancashire. As a Teaching Assistant for Individuals with Disabilities, you will play a crucial role in supporting children with special educational needs (SEN).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to a child with SEN
  • Plan and adapt a learning environment to meet the child's needs
  • Collaborate with the Head and Parents to track student progress
  • Implement and follow individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Encourage positive social and emotional development and manage behaviour

Requirements:

  • Experience working in an SEN setting as a Teaching Assistant
  • Patient, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships with students
  • Relevant qualification in supporting teaching and learning
  • Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
  • Enhanced DBS check required
