Job Description:

We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teaching Assistants to work across primary and secondary classrooms in Leyland and Chorley. As a teaching assistant, you will provide support in various educational settings, collaborating with teachers to create a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting classroom management, student engagement, and individual learning needs
  • Working on a flexible, bank-staff basis with availability for at least one day per week (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM)
  • Assisting with lesson planning and implementation, as required

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience working with children or young people (e.g., in schools, childcare, sports coaching, youth work, etc.)
  • Transferable skills such as communication, teamwork, and adaptability
  • A proactive and positive attitude toward supporting learning
  • Reliability and flexibility to work across different schools
