About the Role

As a Sister / Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Hospital Ward and its staff. You will provide clinical leadership and ensure efficient management of ward resources, drive clinical excellence in patient care, enhance customer service and satisfaction for service users, lead and support the nursing team to meet clinical governance standards, and adhere to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive clinical excellence in patient care

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • RN with valid NMC Registration
  • Experience in acute nursing care
  • Registered Nurse Level 1 / Diploma / BSc in Nursing Studies
  • Up-to-date knowledge in the area of practice
  • Awareness of the NMC Code of Accountability
  • Recruitment and selection skills
  • Experience in a senior nursing role within an acute healthcare sector
