Assistant Manager

At St Lauras, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Deputy Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional care services and supporting the Manager in the daily running of our home.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in health and social care, with experience in dementia care. They will be responsible for supervising staff, working directly with residents, and ensuring that our home operates to the highest standard.
We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of £35,000 per annum, which is dependent on experience. In addition, you will receive comprehensive training and support to enable you to excel in your role.
About the Role:
- Assist the Manager in the daily running of the home, ensuring it operates to the highest standard.
- Supervise staff and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Work directly with residents, providing care and support.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff.
- Order, record, administer, and dispose of medication.
- Maintain adequate staffing levels and ensure the correct mix of staff.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
- Experience in dementia care.
