Job Summary:

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Reliability Solutions Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for performing installations, upgrades, migrations, and integrations of various products, maintaining networking equipment, scheduling and coordinating capacity and network upgrades, and contributing to business and continual improvement activities.

About the Role:

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform installations, upgrades, migrations, and integrations of various products, including Solace Messaging bus systems.
  • Maintain networking equipment, including Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet, and Palo Alto devices.
  • Schedule and coordinate capacity and network upgrades to ensure seamless operations.
  • Contribute to business and continual improvement activities to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.

About You:

  • Requirements:
  • Experience and detailed knowledge of Solace Messaging bus systems from an application and hardware perspective.
  • Demonstrable years of experience in network operations and project delivery with a focus on Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet, and Palo Alto technologies.
  • Strong Network routing and switching skills, including LAN, WAN, HSRP, NAT, MPLS, VPN, GRE, BGP, and OSPF.
  • Excellent knowledge of network packet analyzing and packet capture tools.
  • Good knowledge and experience with Data Centre Networking, including Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Cisco ACI, VxLAN, AVD, and Fortimanager.
  • Good scripting and automation experience with Python and Ansible.
