Azure Support Engineer Opportunity

Landmark Faith Recruiting Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Azure Support Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the IT department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the digital transformation of a Christian charity.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Azure Engineer to join a dynamic team and contribute to the charity's digital transformation. You will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance on the implementation of Microsoft Azure services, including cloud infrastructure, security, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and guidance on Azure services, including cloud infrastructure, security, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement cloud-based solutions.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using popular toolsets such as Terraform, ARM, DSC, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the charity's IT systems and data.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration of Azure services with existing systems.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience in automating the deployment and monitoring of services in Azure.
  • Strong understanding of core network protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS).
  • Strong understanding of IAM roles and policies.
  • Ability to analyze network behavior, performance, and application issues.
  • Understanding of key database terminology and replication methodologies.
  • Understanding of continuous deployment using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, SCM (Git, SVN) along with code reviews.
  • Azure, ITIL, or any relevant administration certifications.
What We Offer

This is a home-based role with monthly travel to the London offices. The salary is up to £47,000 (negotiable) + substantial benefits. The role is offered on a full-time basis, but job-share/part-time options may be available (pro rata salary).
