SEN Teacher Support

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive school in Walsall. This role is ideal for someone passionate about working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and making a positive difference in their educational journey.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of needs, fostering a nurturing environment where they can achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to adapt classroom resources and activities, promoting inclusion and helping pupils engage with the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing one-to-one and group support for pupils with SEN.
- Assisting in the implementation of individualized learning plans (IEPs).
- Collaborating with teachers and the SENCO to adapt classroom resources and activities.
- Promoting inclusion and helping pupils to engage with the curriculum.
- Building positive relationships with pupils to boost their confidence and independence.
- Monitoring progress and providing feedback to the teaching team.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). They will have experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting. They must be patient, empathetic, and adaptable, with a passion for helping children thrive.
