SEN Teacher Specialist

A qualified SEN Teacher Specialist is required to join our team at a specialist SEND school in Walsall. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality teaching and support to students with a range of special needs.
Responsibilities include working collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff to provide holistic care and education, adapting teaching methods and resources to meet the needs of all students, and ensuring adherence to school policies on safeguarding, behaviour management, and individual education plans (IEPs).
This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with SEMH needs, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and personal growth.
To be successful in this role, you will need Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, experience working with children with SEND in a school setting is highly desirable, and a good understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
