About the Role

We are seeking a skilled English and Maths Tutor to join our team at Novus, a leading provider of education services in prisons. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to learners, supporting them to achieve their goals and unlock their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective education programmes to meet contractual requirements and standards.
  • Support learners to achieve their educational goals and progress towards their qualifications.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development of education policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • A teaching qualification or subject specialist qualification at Level 4 (Level 5 - new standards) with a commitment to obtain the relevant outstanding Level 4 (Level 5 - new standards) qualification within a specified time scale.
  • Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
  • Track record of effective teaching in subject specialism.
