Maths Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Maths teacher to join our team at a Welsh Medium Secondary school. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Maths to students aged 11-16 and will be a key member of our dedicated Maths department.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Maths in a Secondary school setting and will be a fluent Welsh speaker. They will also hold QTS or PCET with Maths experience and possess strong classroom behavioural management skills.

The role will involve teaching Maths lessons, planning and preparation, and completion of marking and assessment. The successful candidate will be a valued member of our teaching team and will have the opportunity to work in a well-respected school with a strong ethos of promoting and encouraging pupil learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Maths to students aged 11-16
  • Plan and prepare Maths lessons
  • Complete marking and assessment
  • Attend staff meetings

Requirements:

  • Fluent Welsh speaker
  • Experience teaching Maths in a Secondary school
  • QTS or PCET with Maths experience
  • Strong classroom behavioural management skills
