Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a highly competitive salary ranging from £91,722 to £119,079 per annum, with opportunities for career advancement and additional remuneration through commitment awards. A relocation package of up to £10,000 may also be available, subject to terms and conditions.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity allows the post holder to be part of a dynamic multi-professional team, working closely with colleagues to provide unscheduled care and ensure continuity of care pathways. The Learning Disability services within Swansea Bay UHB are undergoing significant modernisation, offering the chance to be involved in shaping this ambitious programme.

Main Responsibilities

  • Delivering high-quality patient care to those within the Swansea geographical area.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care services.
  • Contributing to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of illness within the team's scope.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess full registration with the GMC, hold MRCPsych UK or equivalent postgraduate qualification, and be on the specialist register for Learning Disability Psychiatry or within 6 months of achieving CCT in Learning Disability Psychiatry.
