Aerospace Component Repair Specialist

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is a specialist recruitment agency based in the UK, with over 20 years of experience in providing bespoke engineering and repair solutions for the Aerospace and Marine industries.
As a Workshop Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on-site within our client's well-established company in Dundee, where you will be responsible for the repair and refurbishment of gas turbine components. This varied role will see you reverse engineer hot section gas turbine components to return parts to serviceable conditions, while designing and fixturing new product solutions.
The salary for this position is estimated to be between £39,000 and £44,000 per annum, plus a company bonus and an early finish on Fridays. The working hours are Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 16:30, and Friday from 08:00 to 13:00.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a mechanical or aerospace background and be able to commute to Dundee. You will also need to have strong problem-solving skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
