Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Bright Horizons WoodLand Day Nursery and Preschool in Gaydon, Warwickshire. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff to deliver exceptional care and education to children aged 3 months to 5 years.

The ideal candidate will possess a full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification, with experience within an Early Years leadership role. You will have a strong knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver exceptional care and education to children.
  • Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead at the nursery, ensuring the safety and well-being of children.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to meet the needs of each child.
  • Promote the nursery to both current parents and potential customers to support retention and occupancy growth.
