About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our Night Shift team at HC One. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain the highest standards of care
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager
  • Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
Requirements
  • Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Ability to work towards Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care
  • Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise
