Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Care Assistants and provide guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans that cater to the unique needs and preferences of our residents.
- Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities.
- Administer medication and maintain accurate records of care provided.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive care environment.
- Completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to recognize signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise.
