Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Site Supervisor to join our team at Morson Talent. As a Project Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of substation and transformer sites, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite supervision and management of complex construction sites from the initial design phase to final commissioning.
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of specialist contractors and direct staff, ensuring that projects are delivered with full consideration to safety, quality, cost, and time targets.
  • Ensure the cooperation and communication between contractors is maintained and coordination of their activities is in accordance with the project plan.
  • Undertake site inductions and checks on individuals/organisations competencies and authorisations for the work they are undertaking.
  • Ensure all activities are co-ordinated and have an appropriate risk assessment and method statement in place.
Requirements
  • A sound background in primary and grid substation construction and cable systems experience working in a project delivery environment is beneficial.
  • At least 5 years of relevant demonstrable experience in civil and/or electrical construction site supervision.
  • ONC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
  • A detailed knowledge of the safety and environmental regulations relating to construction work in the industry.
  • A safety qualification such as CITB SMSTS is required as will experience of working with the CDM regulations and ISO9001 quality processes.
