About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Decontamination Technician to join our Sterile Services team at Ashtead Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our patients and staff by sterilizing all instruments and equipment needed for surgical procedures and treatments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the availability of equipment and instruments for surgical procedures and treatments.
  • Contribute to quality improvements and actively promote best practice in decontamination procedures.
  • Collaborate with consultants and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.

Requirements

  • Essential experience within sterile services, endoscopy, or both.
  • Flexibility and versatility, with a real can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centred environment.
