Location: Ramsay Ashtead Hospital

Role Summary

The Decontamination Unit plays a crucial role in ensuring that all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized for a wide range of medical procedures and treatments throughout the facility. In this position, you will contribute to the peace of mind of our patients and their families by ensuring that our healthcare teams have the necessary tools at their disposal, even in a dynamic and varied caseload.

Collaborating with a diverse team, including medical professionals, you will ensure that our staff is equipped with the essential instruments when required, enhancing the overall patient experience. Your commitment to promoting best practices and contributing to quality enhancements will be vital in this role.

Work Environment

You will be based in the Decontamination and Endoscopy Department at Ashtead Hospital.

Qualifications and Skills

Previous experience in sterile services, endoscopy, or a related field is essential.
