High-Speed Rail Organisation Seeks Carbon Management Specialist

We are recruiting for a Carbon Management Specialist to join our dynamic team at CPR. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a crucial role in driving innovative carbon reduction strategies and contributing to Net Zero Carbon initiatives on groundbreaking rail projects.

About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing carbon requirements across high-profile projects, including Systems and Station Build. Key responsibilities include managing and implementing carbon reduction strategies and Net Zero Carbon plans, overseeing contractors to ensure compliance with carbon reduction targets, reviewing their performance, and providing assurance.

Responsibilities:
  • Carbon Reduction Strategies: Develop and implement carbon reduction strategies and Net Zero Carbon plans to achieve sustainability objectives.
  • Contractor Oversight: Ensure contractor compliance with carbon reduction targets by reviewing their performance and providing assurance.
  • Procedure Development: Develop and support the implementation of carbon-related procedures and processes.
  • Project Collaboration: Collaborate with project teams on Systems and Station Build, ensuring sustainability objectives are met.
