About the Role


We are seeking a talented Low Carbon Communications Manager to join our team at Gemserv, a leading provider of professional services. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the narrative around sustainability, climate action, and the low-carbon transition.


Key Responsibilities



  • Lead the development and execution of integrated communication strategies that advance our clients' low-carbon agendas.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality content, including reports, policy briefs, blogs, press releases, and social media content.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry leaders, and media representatives.
  • Manage and mentor a team of communications professionals, ensuring high standards of output and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Support business growth by identifying new opportunities for expanding our low-carbon communications services.

Requirements



  • A relevant degree in communications, public relations, energy policy, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a communications role, with a focus on sustainability, energy, or public affairs.
  • Experience in leading teams and managing complex projects is essential.
  • Ability to translate complex issues into clear, concise, and impactful messages.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative communication strategies that drive engagement and influence.
