The Position:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive carbon reduction plan, aligning with our organisational Net Zero Carbon objectives.
  • Direct a team of two Carbon Specialists, instilling a culture of teamwork, creativity, and goal-oriented excellence.
  • Monitor contractor performance, ensuring they meet strict carbon reduction targets and provide assurance on delivery.
  • Work closely with project teams on Systems and Station Build, guaranteeing seamless integration of sustainability objectives.
  • Nurture strategic relationships with key stakeholders, building consensus and securing commitment to shared sustainability goals.

About You:

You are a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of carbon management and a proven ability to drive change. Your exceptional leadership, communication, and influencing skills make you an ideal fit for this challenging yet rewarding role.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Science, Engineering).
  • At least 8 years of experience in carbon management, with a focus on strategy development and implementation.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
