About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Theatre Support Worker to join our team at the Princess Grace Hospital in London. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our theatres, providing high-quality support to patients and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Cleaning and Preparation: You will be responsible for cleaning and preparing the theatre and recovery areas before and after operating sessions, adhering to our strict hygiene standards.
  2. Patient Care: You will assist with transferring patients from trolleys to tables under the supervision of trained staff and escort patients during their stay in the theatre.
  3. Circulating Person: You will act as a circulating person for the scrub team, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available during procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience working in an Operating Theatre as a Health Care Assistant (HCA) or significant experience working as a HCA in a hospital healthcare setting.
  • Skillset: Knowledge of Healthcare Computer Systems, Meditech, Theatre Man, Microsoft Outlook, and Infection Prevention Control is essential.
