Job Title: Lead Mechanical Plant Engineer

Join Kintec Global Recruitment in our search for a highly skilled Lead Mechanical Plant Engineer to lead our team in optimizing plant availability, performance, and cost.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Mechanical Engineering support to optimize plant availability, performance, equipment reliability, and cost.
  • Provide short-term and long-term Mechanical Engineering support to optimize plant availability, performance, equipment reliability, and cost.
  • Maintain mechanical asset integrity and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with company, site, national, and international standards with respect to equipment maintenance.
  • Support and develop the PU Mechanical Assurance Engineer, AO (offsite resource) engineer, and Graduate engineer.
Requirements:
  • Chartered engineer or following a Company approved route to CEng/IEng status.
  • At least 4 years practical experience in process plant engineering.
  • Ability to manage complex engineering issues simultaneously to tight deadlines and budgets.
  • Results-oriented and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced reactive environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Strong problem solver, self-motivated, and proactive.
  • A working knowledge of downstream oil and gas static and rotating process equipment, safety procedures, and systems.
  • Good awareness of national and international Engineering standards and ability to research and apply to mechanical assurance work.
  • Experience with risk assessment and mitigation.
