Senior Mechanical Plant Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Plant Engineer to join our team at Kintec Global Recruitment. As a Senior Mechanical Plant Engineer, you will play a key role in managing the mechanical engineering support to optimize plant availability, performance, equipment reliability, and cost.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the mechanical engineering support to optimize plant availability, performance, equipment reliability, and cost.
  • Provide short-term and long-term mechanical engineering support to optimize plant availability, performance, equipment reliability, and cost.
  • Ensure mechanical asset integrity is maintained and meets the requirements of health, safety, and environmental regulations as required for a top-tier COMAH site.
  • Ensure compliance with company, site, national, and international standards with respect to equipment maintenance and to maintain the overall condition of the asset base and its operation.
  • Support and develop the PU Mechanical Assurance Engineer, AO (offsite resource) engineer, and Graduate engineer.

Requirements:

  • Chartered engineer or following a Company-approved route to CEng/IEng status.
  • At least 4 years of practical experience in process plant engineering.
  • Ability to manage a wide range of complex engineering issues simultaneously to tight deadlines, budgets, and ability to rigorously prioritize work.
  • Results-oriented and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced reactive environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Strong problem solver, self-motivated, and proactive.
  • A working knowledge of downstream oil and gas static and rotating process equipment, safety procedures, and systems.
  • Good awareness of national and international engineering standards and ability to research and apply to mechanical assurance work.
  • Experience with risk assessment and mitigation.
