Job Summary:

Magnus James is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lettings Negotiator to join their team. As a Lettings Negotiator, you will play a key role in achieving targets and providing exceptional customer service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the lettings team to achieve sales targets and ensure compliance with legal documentation.
  • Contribute to building the company's brand in the local market through effective marketing and sales strategies.
  • Provide high levels of customer service to clients, responding to telephone and face-to-face enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Carry out viewings and obtain feedback from clients to ensure a smooth sales process.
  • Negotiate new tenancies with landlords and tenants, ensuring that all agreements are fair and transparent.
  • Prepare tenancy agreements and issue legal documents related to the tenancy, ensuring that all safety certificates are in place prior to move-in.
  • Work closely with the property management team to ensure that properties are prepared for move-in and that tenants are satisfied with their new homes.
  • Ensure a smooth handover of keys and that tenants are fully aware of their responsibilities and obligations.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar lettings role is highly desirable.
  • Sales and customer service experience, with a proven track record of achieving targets and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Previous experience of using Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are essential, as you will be required to travel to various locations to conduct viewings and meet with clients.
