About the Role

Pareto FM is seeking a highly skilled Facilities and Engineering Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the timely completion of all maintenance and reactive tasks associated with client assets.
  2. Carry out regular and periodic inspections to maintain the efficiency and safety of M&E installations, including fire safety, firefighting equipment, and security systems.
  3. Maintain records and computer-based record management systems to nationally agreed standards.
  4. Carry out all necessary maintenance works on M&E services and installations, including electrical systems, heating and hot water installations, fire alarms and security systems, works machines, and other relevant systems.
  5. Ensure works are completed to standard and against budget, meeting key client requirements and satisfaction.
  6. Support the arrangements in place for subcontractors to undertake routine and emergency breakdown maintenance, both in and out of hours.
  7. Assist the client in setting maintenance priorities, forward programmes, and budgets.
  8. Assist with the preparation of delegated planned maintenance projects, including schedules and specifications, and place orders.
  9. Liaise with other professionals undertaking project work and contribute site and maintenance information where required.
  10. Liaise with the client and other Pareto FM staff to develop and disseminate national best practice in M&E maintenance and procedures.
  11. Liaise with and participate in site and property teams, providing technical input in other areas, such as security, health and safety, risk assessments, utility infrastructures, counter disaster planning, and other initiatives.
  12. Ensure the effective implementation of the Asset Management Plan, informing the planning and management of works across the estate.
  13. Undertake other works of a similar nature as required and directed by the client and Pareto FM Account Senior Manager.
  14. Be the go-to person for the client when an issue arises, taking total ownership of service delivery on site.
  15. Manage monthly finance spend with the Senior Account Manager.
  16. Provide monthly client KPI reports.
Requirements
  1. Recognised, relevant Mechanical / Electrical engineering qualifications.
  2. Computer Literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & Project).
  3. NVQ Level Minimum.
