School Mental Health Assistant
This role presents an ideal opportunity for graduates with a Psychology degree, looking to develop their understanding of social, emotional, and mental health needs. Working closely with the Clinical team in a SEN school in Luton, you will provide support to children with complex needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing first-class support to children with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs
- Developing understanding and knowledge through education and training
The salary scale is £23,000 - £25,000 per year, based on a 5-day week from 8:30 to 16:30. This long-term contract offers hands-on experience working with various needs, making it perfect for someone in Luton and the surrounding areas.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate Degree (preferable) and/or previous SEN experience
- Interest in mental health and Autism
- Knowledge or keen interest in the range of different types of learning and behavioural needs
