Job Title: SEN Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team at an SEN school in Blandford Forum. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching lower education classes (Primary) and working with students diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

About the Role:
  • Teach small classes of 4-6 pupils with diverse needs, including ASD, challenging behavior, and learning difficulties.
  • Develop and implement structured learning environments that cater to the needs of students.
  • Collaborate with a committed team to foster a passion for lifelong learning and support students' development.
  • Work with students who have complex needs and require a high level of support.
  • Be responsible for creating medium-term plans, lesson planning, and subject or curriculum area responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • QTS qualification.
  • Ability to interact with people in a variety of ways and develop expertise in special educational needs and Autism.
  • Dynamic and proactive approach to teaching and learning.
  • Well-organized and able to plan a structured learning environment.
