Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled NHS Specialist Nurse to join our Immunology team at the Transformation Unit. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with immunodeficiency, both in hospital and at home.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the Immunology service in providing a high-quality effective nursing service for patients with immunodeficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote self-management and independence.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with current UK professional registration.
  • Post-registration qualification in specialty or willingness to complete.
  • Experience of mentorship/preceptorship roles and formal/informal teaching.
  • Relevant experience in specialty and understanding of evidence-based practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and manage own workload, with effective time management.
