Job Title: Apprentice Building/Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Justice & Immigration (J&I) FM contract. As a key member of the FM management team, you will play a crucial role in the management, development, and delivery of lifecycle modelling and asset replacement programmes across the J&I estate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise on lifecycle/dilapidation projects and determine/manage business/financial requirements aligned to the risk.
  • Undertake risk, value management, and cost control during post-contract, practical delivery, and final account stages of projects.
  • Champion working towards gaining ISO 19650 for Building Information Modelling (BIM) including the creation and development of digital modelling of the existing J & I Estate.
Requirements:
  • Relevant quantity surveying and/or equivalent industry qualifications and recognised professional body accreditation, preferably RICS chartered (Associate RICS will be considered).
  • Sound technical knowledge, competence, and understanding of building construction, fabric, and building engineering services.
  • Experience of using both the JCT and NEC suites of contract and previously delivered works using measured term contracts.
  • Proficient in the use of MS office, particularly Excel, and in the application of estimating tools such as SPONS, NSR.
