We are seeking a highly skilled Account Director to lead a portfolio of ecommerce and retail accounts, driving business growth and client satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual with a strong background in digital advertising and account management.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing tailored account plans, identifying growth opportunities, and presenting compelling proposals to clients. They will also possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with a passion for data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning a portfolio of up to 5 ecommerce and retail accounts.
  • Building and maintaining senior level relationships with clients.
  • Ensuring internal teams are aware of client happiness levels and working towards high levels of satisfaction.
  • Proactively identifying and managing risks to the client relationship.
  • Onboarding new clients using the Nest onboarding process for success.

Commercial Health

  • Developing tailored account plans to grow relationships in revenue and product/service diversity.
  • Identifying growth opportunities across your portfolio and presenting them compellingly.
  • Invoicing and financial management, ensuring late payments are managed appropriately.
  • Working with disciplines to develop forecasts for clients and senior management visibility of projected revenue each week.

Performance Planning

  • Developing media strategies and plans across digital marketing channels.
  • Providing clients with strategic recommendations using performance marketing best practices.
  • Acting as the face of the agency, presenting high-quality work and delivering strategic answers.

Cross Department Management

  • Leading regular business reviews with clients to show effectiveness and deepen relationships.
  • Supporting delivery teams to manage and prioritize client deliverables.
  • Ensuring clear ways of working with clients and our team.
  • Managing weekly reports, including forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Occasionally supporting new business pitches with the sales team.
  • Sharing insights and case studies with the wider team to build for scale.

About You

  • Proven experience in leading portfolios and owning client relationships.
  • Experience in paid digital advertising, working with platforms like Meta, Google, TikTok, and Pinterest.
  • An entrepreneurial individual who spots growth opportunities and builds the case for additional spend or campaigns.
  • Leading cross-channel strategies to help clients meet their objectives.
  • Hands-on experience planning performance marketing campaigns for retail or ecommerce brands spending over £100k per month.
  • A leader with management experience and excellent team organization skills.
  • Passion for data and trend analysis, communicating findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of managing senior relationships and overcoming challenges.
  • Excellent presentation skills and resilience to manage ebb and flow needs.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience).
