Business Segments

Requirements

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • AAT, ACA, ICAEW, or ACCA qualification or partial qualification with supplementary experience.
  • At least five years of experience as a client and cloud accountant or partially qualified with additional years of experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting, corporation tax compliance, and VAT processes and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks, Xero, and Excel.
  • Experience working in a fast-growing startup and with a large portfolio of SME clients would be advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of payroll and personal tax would be advantageous.
Responsibilities

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Preparing and reviewing statutory annual accounts, reconciliations, external returns, and claims for a large portfolio of SME clients.
  • Building new relationships and maintaining existing relationships with clients.
  • Ensuring financial records, systems, and internal controls are properly managed, maintained, controlled, reviewed, and complied with.
  • Managing a team of accountants and supporting them with day-to-day challenges, performance, and training.
