Looking for a challenging role in materials selection, corrosion assessment, and component design? Capgemini Engineering is seeking a skilled professional to join our team of experts.

About the Role:

This position involves working with a multidisciplinary team to solve complex problems and develop key skills and competencies. You will be responsible for managing small to medium-size tasks, performing materials selection, and corrosion assessment related to component non-conformance.

You will also support the design of test programmes and analysis of test programme data. Your expertise in metallic and aerospace experience, as well as your degree in Materials Engineering and Chartered Status or working towards Chartership, make you an ideal candidate for this role.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with engineering studies, including welding technology, corrosion assessments, and materials selections.
  • Perform engineering calculations, such as corrosion and erosion.
  • Produce project engineering documents, including materials selection and corrosion management.
  • Write technical assessments and notes for reporting study results.
  • Support preparation, checking, or approving engineering deliverables.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
  • Metallic and aerospace experience
  • Degree in Materials Engineering & Chartered Status or working towards Chartership
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build good working relationships
  • Strong team player

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
