Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Graduate Materials Scientist to join our Electrode Team in Bristol. As a key member of the team, you will contribute towards product and scientific development through characterisation of battery relevant materials, including foils, metal oxide actives, carbons, and binders. You will also be responsible for characterising the physical, mechanical, chemical, and thermal properties of electrode materials and composites.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, or a relevant field and experience in material characterisation techniques relevant to battery material R&D. You will also need to be proficient in communication of results and work using visual, written, and spoken methods, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

In return for your skills and experience, we offer a competitive salary of £26,000-£33,000 per annum depending on experience, learning and development opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package including vitality health insurance and flexible working arrangements.
