HR Adviser Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Adviser to join our team at Office Angels. As an HR Adviser, you will play a vital role in providing high-level HR support and guidance to our organisation, ensuring a positive work environment and promoting employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with managers and employees to provide expert advice on HR policies and procedures
  2. Manage the recruitment and retention process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
  3. Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  4. Contribute to the development and revision of employment policies and procedures
  5. Assist in the implementation of employee health and safety initiatives
  6. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  7. Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and grievance procedures
  8. Promote employee wellbeing through various programmes and initiatives

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as an HR Adviser or similar role
  2. Excellent knowledge of HR practices and employment legislation
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships
  4. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  5. Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  6. High level of attention to detail and organisational skills
  7. Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite
  8. CIPD or equivalent qualification is desirable
